We are Nature
Every living being plays a vital role in expanding the experience of Life on Earth (Gaia, Pachamama), our sacred home and host. As stewards and healers, the Wandering Mantis caravan exists to help individuals and communities reawaken this connection, realigning with the living world around us and remembering the wisdom within.
We are a sustainable services firm rooted in the principles of cellular regeneration & biomimicry, LEAN process & LEED criteria, guiding transformative actions into scalable, enduring solutions for long-term impact and resilience. Our work invites us to explore the root causes of imbalance, both personal and collective. We examine the unconscious patterns that keep us disconnected, and together, we co-create new rhythms that restore wholeness.
We believe healing begins by slowing down, by listening deeply, by sharing stories that matter. Through honest relationships built on trust, we create space to be seen and heard, fully and without judgment.
This is a practice of remembering, of reintegration, of restoring our capacity to care for ourselves, for each other, and for the planet we belong to.

Born from Wonder
It may seem odd, but the origins of Wandering Mantis were actually born in my kitchen.
Spring is my favorite season. Each year, I take every opportunity to plant food, medicine, and native species anywhere I can around our home. One year, after filling my cart with vibrant new plants at Home Depot, I headed toward the checkout. By the register, there were netted bags filled with ladybugs, crawling and alive with purpose. I grabbed one to accompany the plants and help the nasturtiums fend off aphids.
Then I noticed another netted pouch, this one completely still.
It was labeled “Praying Mantis Eggs.” My first thought was, how strange! But then a wave of curiosity washed over me, followed by a quiet, inner desire to give these creatures a chance to live free in the wild. Without overthinking it, I added them to the order and headed home.

My journey has been shaped by the wild terrain of personal growth. While observing the desire to connect with community in a corporate environment it became clear that a disconnect exists between economic expansion and social impact. From this, an ongoing awakening to another truth emerged- we are not separate from nature, we are nature.
I was raised to believe in the importance of cultivating a strong work ethic, service & sacrifice, and shouldering responsibility to be a provider for others. A career in hospitality immersed me in the lives of literally millions of people and thousands of animals, gifting me the privilege of engaging with some of the most iconic venues, vibrant cultures, and beautiful acts of humanity. I poured my heart and soul into every day, placing my focus on the experience of others. My approach integrated hands-on, in the field/on the floor work with strategic leadership and Executive Committee oversight. Working beside those on the frontlines to understand the effort that goes into each task and the obstacles they encounter, allowed for collaboration and the development of strong relationships.

Wandering Mantis was born from the need to rewrite the story-a shift from systems built on extraction and separation toward a future rooted in restoration, reciprocity, and resilience. We exist to help catalyze that shift by creating bridges between people and planet, businesses and communities, inner healing and collective transformation. The current way isn’t working for most, and certainly not for those who’ve been historically marginalized. It’s time for a new narrative, one that restores what’s been lost and remembers what’s always been true.
Our approach centers on supporting community-based organizations that are doing the heavy lifting, often quietly and without adequate support. We believe that when businesses align with these grassroots efforts, we unlock regenerative power. This collaboration moves us beyond charity toward equity, helping dismantle the barriers that prevent entire communities from thriving. When we elevate those most impacted, we uplift us all.
